RECOIN Publishes Preliminary Report on Control Unit Configuration

A milestone in the RECOIN project has been reached: the hardware required for the new controller for optimized, efficient operation of different borehole heat exchanger fields has been constructed and its configuration fully defined.

The brief report on the configuration is available for download (RECOIN Deliverable D7a):

Do not hesitate to contact the project team via the contact form on this website with any questions about the project, the device or if you are interested in this system!

The first prototype of the RECOIN controller is already in use in Lausen (Switzerland) and handles the comprehensive monitoring of the system at the site. In parallel, the project partners continue developing a versatile, robust controller algorithm that will be implemented, rigorously tested, and validated in the field as part of RECOIN. For this purpose, the project involves further demonstration sites named Wisdome (Stockholm, Sweden) and SEED (Frankfurt, Germany).
